Denoto Family Holiday Portraits { BLOG }

I just loved this family: Frankie, Kasey, Julian & Willow! They were so sweet! And they drove all the way from Auburn to shoot with me. We had a great session in the studio and got some fun shots too. My sessions always go by way too fast. Willow had a great time playing on my stairs while I photographed mom and dad.

Their entire order was for black and white prints as well. I love black and white, there's just something so timeless about them.

I'm looking forward to a "special" portrait session with just mom in a couple months!

My goal as a photographer is to create images that are different, FASHION-INSPIRED and a great reflection of you! Your session can take place downtown, at a park, beach, in the studio or a combination of locations for images that are as UNIQUE as you!

Some of the High Schools are now requiring yearbook photos be taken indoors with a gray background. If you choose to have your Senior Session on-location I will be unable to provide the yearbook photo for you. You may however receive an additional 16 wallet prints to replace the yearbook photo. Who doesn't need more wallet prints anyways?

"L" Family Fall Portraits { BLOG }

If this family looks familiar to you it's because I captured Tonys' Marine Homecoming a few weeks ago for the Operation Love Reunited organization. They booked me for a fall family session shortly thereafter.

We went to one of my favorite locations, Onondaga Lake Park. The weather was perfect, the leaves were golden and the family was a pleasure to work with. The kids, Irelyn & Evan are just so sweet and precious. This is a family with a whole lot of LOVE.

Portraits in the Park...

My first annual "Portraits in the Park" mini photo sessions at Onondaga Lake Park were a huge success! I had so much fun and I hope the families did too. They were all amazing and I could see the love they all had for each other. I even got a hug from two year old little Jacob. This is why I love my job! Thank you so much for letting me capture some of your precious memories.

I'm already planning a few more of these mini-sessions for 2010.

"S" Family - Life Unscripted

The "S" family Life Unscripted photo session at Onondaga Lake Park in Syracuse. Dad is active military at Fort Drum and was home on a short leave. Luckily he was home to witness the birth of his new son, Wyatt.

I originally met this wonderful family through Operation Love Reunited. I photographed mom and Jesse a few months back and we surprised dad with a photo album. He loved it. This time they contacted me for some family portraits. Such a beautiful, loving family. Thanks for choosing me to capture your memories. And Sean thanks for keeping us all safe. Come home soon!

Back to School Portraits...

Baby "T" ...

Introducing Baby "T", just five weeks old. Isn't he the cutest? I love babies. They are so squishy, fresh and lovable.

Mom brought "T" to the studio for our session. He was a bit cranky but we worked around it. Took our time and came away with some wonderful images. The shoot lasted almost 3 hours with breaks for feedings. He didn't sleep the entire time. Near the end of our shoot he was pretty fussy so I decided to bring out the Shop Vac. As soon as I turned it on he relaxed, listened and enjoyed the noise. It was pretty amazing. He even started to fall asleep in the basket. I'll be using the Shop Vac for all of my baby shoots from now on.

Mom saw this first pose hanging on canvas in my studio and wanted to try it. Came out great!

Operation Love Reunited - Fort Drum Family...

I love these sessions. Another family from Fort Drum. The husband was deployed to Afghanistan back in January and will be away from his family for more than a year. With the Operation Love Reunited organization (http://www.oplove.org/), his wife and daughter are able to send him the gift of a 4x6 photo album. I will be shipping his album soon and hope having pictures of his loved ones will bring a smile to his face. Thank you for being our Hero!
