Keilan / Syracuse Model

Um Gorgeous!  And fun!  And smart!  And bubbly!

This is Keilan - a local Syracuse model that I just adore.  She is so easy to work with, does pretty much whatever I ask of her without question and is just an all around great person!

Keilan was kind enough to model for me while I was mentoring another photographer.  Here are just a few of my favorites (and I didn't shoot for very long since I was teaching).

The gorgeous Leanne!  We had a fabulous time walking around downtown Syracuse and shooting some images for her model portfolio.  Leanne was just accepted with AMS Models and Talent here in Central New York.  Congrats Leanne!

Beauty & Massage

A few from a recent commercial shoot for a talented local makeup artist and soon to be Massage Therapist, Emily Jock! She's building her websites and needed some images to complete the look.

The rest you will have to wait and see on her websites! I'm not even sure which images she will be using yet but I have lots more!

East Coast Artists....

Happy to say my new East Coast Artists group is a huge success! We already have nearly 200 FANS on our Facebook page! I'm so happy and have been getting nothing but positive feedback so far from members. All of the photographers, models, makeup artists and stylists are wonderful! Everyone works exceptionally well together and we are all willing to help each other.

We have all been shooting like crazy! I wanted this to be an active group! Lots of group model shoots at different locations all across Central New York.

We've done a "Twilight" themed model shoot, a beach shoot, two boudoir sessions, a High Fashion Shoot and several mentoring sessions in the studio! Shoots in the works for September/October include a Senior Shoot in downtown Syracuse, Apple Orchards in Mexico, a Fall Fashion Shoot and an Alice in Wonderland themed shoot.

Here's one of my favorite shots from our Twilight shoot out in the woods at night! It was so much fun and challenging too!

Megan { Oswego, NY }

Wow! Really all I can say is WOW everytime I shoot with Megan. She is just an amazing model and knows exactly how to work the camera! And she is also a makeup artist and photographer too! It doesn't get any better than that!

For this shoot we went to my favorite location in Oswego on the shore of Lake Ontario. Big rocks, waves, water and soft diffused light!

Even though it started out very rainy and we had to keep running for the car, totally ruined an umbrella, had a dead car battery and got a little bit wet - we had a fabulous shoot. And the rain did eventually stop and we captured some great images.

K Glam Model Shoot { BLOG }...

On Saturday, January 17th I had the pleasure of attending a group model shoot hosted by Kelly of K Glam Photo Studio. She organized the event and provided the models, location and makeup artist. All I had to do was show up with my camera.

Every once in a while, when time permits I try to work group model shoots into my schedule. It's a great way to practice your craft, play with new lighting techniques and try out new poses. This was one of those times and I'm very pleased with the results.

I had never worked with any of these models previously. They were all FABULOUS! And they had some amazing clothes too!
