Hi Kelly, I came across your work by accident and I love it. I saw your contest, and decided why not try? I just moved to New York to stay with my fiancee's family while he is in Afghanistan. I was with him through a tour of Iraq, and he was supposed to be getting out of the military this past November. He instead volunteered for one last tour, wanting to do something good for his country and wanting to feel like he's accomplished something. We put off getting married, packed everything we own in one day, and made it here driving non-stop. I've tried to take photos for him on my own with a camera timer, but it's just not the same as having your hands free and the time to get everything just right. Our anniversary is coming up and I'd love to do something really great for him. If this time doesn't work out, then hopefully I can set aside some money and have a photo session with you before he comes back anyway :)

Hi Kelly,

I am a hardworking person who lost my job in May. I have been diligently looking for work but have been unsuccessful. I focused my free time on the one goal that I have very much wanted all my life...to buy a house. I put all my time and effort into this and it has finally came true. We closed on our house on 11/12/09 ....just before the holidays. I managed to get the house settled enough to still have our usual Thanksgiving blowout where we invite several people over. Now the new year has rang in and I am re-focusing my attention on getting that PERFECT job, however I have yet to be successful. All the time that I have been out of work my husband Jay has been taking care of us as he is the only one working. Every year on Valentines day he makes sure that he plans a weekend getaway for us. Me being out of work I surely didnt think he'd do that this year but he told me he has requested the time off of work so that we could still be together on Valentines weekend. I am not sure what if anything he has planned as money is tight but I would very much like to do this for him to have a surprise for him on Valentines Day. I also think that your boudoir session may give me the confidence back that I so desperately need to find that "Perfect" job. I hope you consider me thanks so much.

Hi Kelly! Here's my story. I et my husband in 2002 and we immediately became the best of friends. In 2004, He helped me get out of an abusive reltionship with one of his friends. He even packed up with me and moved my 4yr old son and I to another state. We had nothing. No furniture, no food, no money. All we had was the clothing we could fit in my 1992 Camry. He spent one whole year in that state with me struggling to get by and not knowing how we were going to feed my son. Finally I found a job allowing me to at least buy an air mattress for my son to sleep on. My son's father follwed us to that state to harass and threaten us for a few months until eventually we decided to come home. He had never met my family but he took my child on a 2day bus trip back to NY for me and stayed with my family while I packed up all of our clothing, finished my 2weeks at work and drove back to NY. It wasn't much better in NY for the first 6 months but in the past 5 years we have come so far and never once has he said "I can't do this". He has stood by me through so much and this would be a great gift to him.
