Taste of Syracuse 2009...

My first time attending the Taste of Syracuse. What a treat! So much food, shopping, concerts and just plain fun. A great way to get out and enjoy the day.

Of course I took a lot of pictures too. Went with my friend/fellow photographer Kim again and came back with a lot of great, candid images from this event.

More on my Event site here. I just wouldn't have room to post them all on the BLOG!

My First Horse Show...

A few of my favorites from my first horse show. I learned so much during this shoot and found out just how exhausting Equine Photography really is. It's fast paced, challenging and also a lot of fun. We were right in the middle of the ring for most of the show.

I have to thank the talented Kim from www.bigpawgraphics.com for letting me second shoot this show with her last weekend. She taught me so much about horses and showing and we hit it off great. I feel like I've known her for years even though we just met through Flickr.

Blake {childhood}...

I love shooting with little Blake. She is just so full of energy and smiles. I followed her around for about 3 hours and was completely exhausted when I got home. She's just so darn fast. I think I may have tired her out too. Ahh, to be a kid again. We went to several locations around Cicero for this shoot. I even brought a few props with me like a colorful umbrella and my vintage suitcase. So much fun capturing the essence of childhood.

Note:

The day after our shoot mom called to tell me Blake had cut her hair. She wants to be a "hair cutter" when she grows up! I guess she stuck all the cut hair in the cushions of the couch. Too funny. I've been there with my own little one and it's never pretty. We may be shooting again real soon with the new hairstyle once mom gets it fixed.
